AboutTemiskaming Environmental Action Committee (TEAC) is a voluntary group of residents in Timiskaming District who are concerned with environmental issues in their district in particular and northern Ontario more generally.

historyFormed in 1980, TEAC’s interest are with respect to the environmental quality of life in Timiskaming District, and the health of then forests, waters and land upon which Timiskaming residents – and TEAC members – rely for their health, livelihood and recreation. With a membership that is resident in Timiskaming District and the majority of the population of the District living in relatively close proximity to the pipeline corridor, TEAC has a direct local interest as people who live, own property and / or recreate or gain their livelihoods in or near the project area, aka the pipeline.
